That is okay! Yoga is not for the flexible, it is for the willing. Using controlled breathing you create new space in your body, build strength & improve skeletal alignment. It is just a matter of time.




WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?


Your experienced Serve Yoga instructor guides you through a vinyasa yoga flow, with postures designed to cultivate balance, muscle tone & flexibility. Each movement is deeply linked to the breath. Expect hands-on-adjustments & uplifting direction from your teacher.




WHAT DO I NEED?


To practice yoga, all you need is a willingness to learn & an open mind! For a private class at home, about 6ft x 3ft of space per person is required. NO mat? No problem. Mats are provided upon request.




WHAT DO I WEAR?


Yoga pants are not required! Just wear something you are comfortable moving in, stretching in, and perhaps sweating in. For best results, wear a positive attitude & shed any self-doubt.




IS YOGA SPIRITUAL?


Yoga is not a religion. It is an inclusive practice of all beliefs & traditions that creates awareness of the body & mind. Yoga is a journey of self-discovery & acceptance. To some, this is spiritual; to others, this is simply meditative reflection.
